I started playing ice hockey at around the age of 14 and these were my very first pair of pants I used. The X60 vapor pants really got the job done for me as a beginner, they stayed on my hips and never moved while keeping their flexibility. This is very important in your strides and your all around skating. For the price you are getting a great pair of hockey pants that will last a long time. These pants are for smaller waisted people as vapor is for lighter weighted players such as myself. If you are just getting into hockey and are on a budget I would definetly suggest picking up a pair of these pants. These pants may not have the fancy waist like more expensive ones but they do hold up and they get the job done for sure.
